Elaine Ord Tech IOSH

I started work as a Driver/Care Assistant for Local Authority in 1984. I then moved into the Fleet Management Office and qualified as a Driver/Assessor Trainer under the C.T.A MiDAS Scheme in 1996.

It was from this that I became responsible as part of a team to deliver driver training. In 1997 I moved into Health & Safety and qualified under the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH).

In 1998 I qualified as Institute of Advanced Motorists Minibus Driver Trainer (I.A.M.) followed by qualifying within the Local Authority for General Risk Assessment and finalised by City & Guilds to “determine requirements for improved control of health & safety risks” in November 1999.
